Outline/Summary

The heavy medium shallow tank separator is a kind of rough separation equipment. Its working principle is based on the flotation principle of materials with different specific gravity in heavy medium suspension. Raw coal enters the sorting tank after pre-screening, and the materials are sorted in the tank filled with heavy medium suspension. The lighter materials float to the liquid surface and are discharged from the discharge end under the combined action of horizontal flow and discharge wheel. The heavy specific gravity materials sinking to the bottom are lifted to the outlet by the gangue scraper, thereby obtaining products with different specific gravity.

Technical characteristics

The use of grooved plates, special wear-resistant high-chromium wear-resistant materials, and lengthened specially designed transmission chains greatly improve the service life and efficiency of the equipment.

Each sorting slot is designed according to the special needs of users and can meet different sorting ratios. Regardless of the ash content and gangue content of the selected material, very satisfactory results can be achieved using this sorting tank.

The feed particle size range is wide and suitable for sorting 20-200mm lump coal.

There are few operating positions, smooth work and low failure rate.
